The use of placeholder * is not supported in the message search.

System Response
The system removes character * without substituting it.
If you only specify one part of the message, the system automaticallysearches for all occurrences.

If you do not want to search using a specific message number, messageclass or message type, do not enter anything when you define the searchcriteria.
