transaction data can only be assigned to an InfoSource thatsupports flexible updating.
Master data can be assigned both to InfoSources that supportdirect updating, as well as those that support flexible updating.
Text can be assigned both to InfoSources that support directupdating, as well as those that support flexible updating.
Hierarchies can only be assigned to an InfoSource that supportsdirect updating.

Procedure
Assign the DataSource to an InfoSource of the correct type.
