Diagnosis
The number of measured values outside the tolerance range is eitherzero, or the mean value violates the opposing tolerance limit to themeasured values.

Procedure
Check and, if necessary, correct your entry for the mean value and thenumber of measured values below and above the tolerance range.
Note
If the valuation of the characteristic or the partial sample isperformed based on the number of nonconforming units, you should specifythe number of measured values above and below the tolerance range. Ifthe number of nonconforming units is zero, the characteristic or samplewill be accepted.
If the inspected sample size is 1, the number of measured values aboveor below the tolerance limits is transferred if the mean value violatesa tolerance limit.
