Diagnosis
Due to possible errors in the posting and/or remittance process, and ingeneral payroll functionalities, the following wage types are notallowed on Infotype 0221:

• Wage types used for membership fees or union dues that are configured
in processing class 78 with specification values 3, 4, or 7.

• Wage types used in garnishment processing. These wage types are
configured in processing class 60.
Membership fees/union dues wage types are not allowed because they useV0 splits. In adjustments processing, the information contained in theV0 split, such as creditor/provider information, is not processed. Thismeans the information about the creditor/provider is not available inthe posting/remittance process, which results in errors. And becausegarnishment processing is not part of the adjustments processgarnishment wage types are not allowed on Infotype 221.
