The system acknowledges this with a warning. Please note that the leaveentitlement must be adapted for each leave type.
Example:
The leave year extends from 01/01/xxxx - 12/31/xxxx
The leave entitlement is 30 days, the leave type is 01.
You decide to change the leave year to 01/01/xxxx - 06/30/xxxx
This results in a 50 % reduction in the employee's leave entitlement.
You may also have to adapt the deduction begin and end fields to thenew time interval of the leave record.

Procedure
Adjust the employee's leave entitlement to the altered situation.
