If you haveadded a new item under the last item, the system attempts to assign ahigher, unassigned item number. This assignment was unsuccessful. Examples: Business transactions with the item numbers 5, 10, and 15 exist in astage. Five new business transactions are inserted between items 10 and15. However, as the result of the automatic numbering procedure, onlynumbers 11 to 14 can be assigned. The automatic numbering procedure isunsuccessful. Business transaction 9999 exists in a stage. A new business transactionis added. No item numbers higher than 9999 can be assigned. Theautomatic numbering procedure is unsuccessful.
