Diagnosis
You want to replace an object. This causes a gap in the validity periodof the objects, however. In Customizing for versioning, you specifiedthat gaps are not permitted or that they are permitted but that thesystem is to output a warning.

System Response
If gaps are not permitted, processing is canceled.
If gaps are permitted, you can replace the object, but the systemoutputs this warning.

Procedure
If gaps are not permitted or if you do not want the validity period tocontain a gap: when replacing the object, enter a predecessor objectwith a validity period directly before the validity period of thesuccessor object (without gaps or overlaps) or change the validityperiod of the predecessor object.
