Diagnosis
You have created a version or changed the validity of an existingversion. The period &V1& to &V2& that you have entered causes anoverlap in the validity period of the object, however. In Customizingfor versioning, you specified that overlaps are not permitted or thatthey are permitted but the system is to output a warning. The systemhas attempted to adjust the validity period to eliminate the overlap.This attempt was unsuccessful.

System Response
If overlaps are not permitted, processing is canceled. If overlaps arepermitted, you can enter the period, but the system outputs thiswarning.

Procedure
If overlaps are not permitted or if you do not want the validity periodto contain an overlap, enter a period that follows on from existingversions.
