A case should be created from a surrounding object (record or case).The case indicator should include the unique indicator of thesurrounding object.
This indicator was not assigned until now or not saved.

The case creation is terminated.

Procedure
Assign the unique indicator for the surrounding object, save thesurrounding object and start creating the case again.
