Diagnosis
Documentary batches must beentered for a component of the BOM.
Because you cannot enter documentary batches for separate confirmationfor further postings in the background, the system does not allow you tosave.

System Response
It is not possible to save the confirmation because:

• The use of documentary batches has been activated in Customizing for
Batch Management (ActivateDocumentary Batch)

• Documentary batches must be entered for at least one component in the
BOM
In other words, in Customizing for Batch Management underDocumentary Batch you have defined that documentary batches mustbe entered for the material type, theprocess step or you have made this setting inthe Business Add-In.

• In Customizing for Repetitive Manufacturing for the
Control Confirmation Process, you have specifiedseparate confirmation(Define Repetitive ManufacturingProfiles)

Procedure
To post the confirmation for materials that must be managed indocumentary batches, you must:


• Use a different confirmation process control in repetitive manufacturing
( Define Confirmation Processes)

• Or when confirming in the detail screen (@D4@ Detail) for
Backflushing andActual Cost Determination choose the value' ' (Immediately in the Dialog).
