You have attempted to post a reporting point confirmation within therepetitive manufacturing confirmation function although you havespecified in the repetitive manufacturing profile that reporting pointconfirmation may be carried out via Kanban only.

System Response
The confirmation cannot be carried out.

Procedure
With the current repetitive manufacturing profile, you can carry out thereporting point confirmation using the confirmation functions in Kanbanonly. You have two options:

• In the Kanban menu, choose Control -> Confirm.


• Set the status of the kanban to "Full" in the demand source (consumer)
view on the kanban board.
If you nevertheless wish to post the reporting point confirmationmanually in Repetitive Manufacturing, change the setting in the re
petitive manufacturing profile. To do so, choose Production ->Repetitive Manufacturing -> Control -> Define Repetitive ManufacturingProfile in Customizing and set the Reporting Point Conf. w.Kanban and Manual Posting indicator.
