Diagnosis
You are trying to post an asset retirement for an asset with a RealEstate indicator. However correction items exist for this asset.

Procedure
In Real Estate Management, plan a retirement for the correction items(transaction FO1G - Correction Items Retirement planning). Then carryout the input tax treatment for these correction items for theretirement month (transaction FOVD - Post Input Tax Treatment). Thenyou can post the asset retirement.
Alternatively, you can close the correction items if it is not possibleto carry out the retirement planning or the correction items are nolonger required. To do this, call transaction FO96 (Change CorrectionItems). Choose menu path 'Edit' and then the function 'Close CorrectionItems'. Note that once the correction items have been closed theycannot be opened again.
If the correction items are in phase 4 (input tax correction notapplicable), then it is enough to plan the retirement for thecorrection items (FO1G). You do not have handle input tax for theretirement month, since in phase 4, no postings of input tax treatmentneed to be made.
