The first contract end date means:

• If there is no renewal rule, this is the contract end
date of a fixed-term contract.

• If there is a renewal rule, this is the end date of the
first fixed term.
In both cases the date December 12, 9999 does not make sense.

Procedure
To reflect an open-ended contract, delete the first contract end date.
