Input Tax Distribution
This kind of status change without a document posting could be necessaryin the following cases (for example):
There is a line item, for which only a preliminary distribution wasmade, but you now make final distribution without the option rate havingchanged.
A line item with an option rate of 100% is distributed (eitherpreliminary or final distribution). In that case, no posting isnecessary.

Reversing Input Tax Distribution
This kind of status change without a document posting could be necessaryin the following cases (for example):
There is a line item, for which preliminary distribution was made, andfinal distribution is made without the option rate having changed. Thentwo steps are required. In the first step, you reverse the finaldistribution (status change only). In the second step, you reverse thepreliminary distribution (status change and posting of reversaldocument).
If a line item with an option rate of 100% was distributed, you canreverse the distribution only if the status is also reset successfully.This means that the reversal must be executed in an update run, even ifno reversal document is posted when you do so.
