SAP Message RECPOI004 - The office application cannot be used in current GUI

Diagnosis
Correspondence using an office application only functions in online modeof SAP GUI for Windows.
It is also necessary that the office application used (for exampleMicrosoft Word) is available on your local PC or SAP GUI for Windows
is used in conjunction with the office application via a terminalserver.
The correspondence does not function in the following areas:

  • SAP GUI for HTML

  • SAP GUI for the Java environment

  • Background processing

    • Procedure
