Diagnosis The access structure &v1& could not be written to the DDIC. An access structure is a standard structure. It must fulfill certainminimum requirements in terms of consistency before it can be created inthe DDIC. The problem is probably due to an error in the field catalogdefinition or a program error. An access structure is generated for every registered application. Itcontains all the fields that are required to search for conditionrecords in this application and the subordinate applications. Unlike theoverall communication structure that is transferred externally when thesearch is called, the access structure is a structure that is usedinternally to carry out the search efficiently. The constant andfrequently constant search fields in a structure are grouped. If nothingis found for a combination of contents from these search fields, noresult can also be expected for a second access with different contentsfor the variable search fields. The search can then be canceledsuccessfully at this point. System Response The access structure &v1& is not copied to the DDIC and cannot beactivated later because it does not exist in the DDIC. Procedure Inform your system administrator. Procedure for System Administration If the error occurred after you added a new field to the field catalog, check the consistency of the field catalog. Otherwise, contact yoursupport organization. |
