Diagnosis
While creating or selecting a business partner, you chose a phoneticsearch. For you to be able to use this type of search, certainclient-specific settings have to have been made. These settings were notmade in the current client.

System Response
The system cannot perform a phonetic search.

Procedure
Ask your system administrator to set up the phonetic search. To createor select your business partner now, deselect the Phonetic Searchindicator.

Procedure for System Administration
To set up phonetic searches, make the necessary technical settings intransaction BUS10(choose Generate Selection). Also check theCustomizing settings for Set PhoneticSearch.
