Diagnosis The database does not contain any information on the properties of themonitoring tree element (MTE) that you selected. Properties are thesettings of an MTE, including such information as the descriptivemessage of an MTE, alert thresholds, and so on. This situation is most likely not due to an error. Rather, the MTE isprobably a temporary MTE. The system stores properties of such MTEs inthe database only when a user explicitly saves the properties. Procedure If you wish to store the MTE properties in the database, then save theproperties. The system will then add the properties as they aredisplayed to you to the database. The properties are then "permanent." That is, the properties as savedin the database override any specifications made by a data supplierprogram or collection method. The properties can only be changed by auser, who modifies and saves them again. |
