System Response
The A version of the hierarchy cannot be found. You cannot edit thehierarchy without this version.

Procedure
If you want to edit the "merged" customer application componenthierarchy that is found in BW under the source system tree, useactivity Editing DataSources and ApplicationComponent Hierarchies in Customizing for Extractors.
If you really want to maintain a Content application component hierarchybut this only exists in the system in the D version, use the CopyD Version to A Version function in the Hierarchy Selectiondialog box to create the required A version.
This is only useful if the application component hierarchy really isto be edited as Content, and the A version is not available because thesystem has been moved. In this case, the corresponding delivery object(R3TR DSAD ) is transported in the course of the editing process.
