Diagnosis
InfoArea &V2& was deleted for characteristic &V1&. As a result, thecharacteristic is no longer an InfoProvider.Update rules still exist for the characteristic, however.

System Response
The update rules can no longer be displayed or deleted, sincecharacteristic &V1& without an InfoArea is no longer displayed in theInfoProvider tree in the Data Warehousing Workbench.
The characteristic cannot be activated.

Procedure
Reassign an InfoArea to characteristic &V1& or delete the update rulesof the characteristic.
