Procedure
Highlight the characteristic(s), that you wish to assign to a dimensionand double click on the required dimension. Alternatively, you can alsoput the cursor on the dimension and then choose the 'Assign' button.
With characteristics whose assignment is no longer allowed to bechanged, the check box is not active.
In addition to this type of assignment there is also the graphicalassignment, where the dimensions and characteristics are displayed Inthis way, you can attach characteristics that still do not belong to adimension to the relevant one.
