SAP Message R7583 - Char. &1: Attribute &2 is time-dependent (cannot become time-independent)

Diagnosis You have changed the attribute &V2& for characteristic &V1& fromtime-dependent to time-independent. An analysis of the master datafound that, over time, various values existed for the attribute. Theattribute is therefore time-dependent. System Response You can not change the attribute to time-independent. Procedure You first have to delete master data from characteristic &V1& so thatthe ambiguous forms of attribute &V2& will disappear over time. Onlyafterwards can you change the attribute to time-independent.
