Diagnosis
Navigation attribute &V2& of characteristic &V1& is new. All values forthis navigation attribute must now be available in the master datatables and the attributes SID tables of the characteristic.
Otherwise the 'join' for the query can deliver an empty result,although suitable data exists in the InfoCube.

System Response
When activating characteristic &V1& missing entries in the master datatables and attributes SID tables of characteristic &V1& areautomatically inserted. Depending on the size of these tables and thenumber of different attribute values, this can sometimes take a longtime.

Procedure
If activation takes a very long time or is canceled because of timeout,you will have to carry out the activation in the background. To do thisselect 'Characteristic --> Activate in Background'.
