No attributes can be maintained for characteristic &V1&, because itdoes not have any master data.
Manual maintenance of master data is only possible for characteristicV1 if the characteristic has master data or texts.

Procedure
If you want to create attributes for characteristic &V1&, you have tofirst select the indicator 'With Master Data'.
If you want to maintain master data for characteristic &V1&, you haveto first select either the 'With Master Data' or 'With Texts'indicator.
