Diagnosis
Until now there were only time-dependent or only time-independentattributes for characteristic &V1&. An attribute is now added so thatV2 is generated for the first time.
Alternatively, characteristic &V1& has no attributes, andtime-dependency is reversed automatically, because as from Release 2.0there are only time-dependent attributes and no time-dependentcharacteristic values anymore.

System Response
The new &V2& must be filled with master data from the characteristic,otherwise the view over the time-independent and time-dependent masterdata table will be empty. The length of time taken depends on thequantity of master data records.

Procedure
If activation takes a very long time, or is canceled because oftimeout, you will have to carry out the activation in the background.To do this select 'Characteristic' --> Activate in Background'.
