SAP Message R7040 - Field name &1 is longer than &2 (&3 cannot be used for authorizations)

Diagnosis Field name &V1& of characteristic &V3& is longer than &V2& places.Fields in authorization structures can have a maximum of &V2& places. The restriction applies to the obsolete reporting authorization system. System Response Characteristic &V3& can not be used for authorizations. Procedure We recommend that you use the current analysis authorization system. If,however, you want to use the obsolete authorization system, thefollowing solution applies: If you want to flag the characteristic as authorization relevant, thefield name can have a maximum of &V2& places. Enter a valid name for theauthorization field.
