Diagnosis
The BP relationships and role definitions have a validity interval. Forthis reason, the data must always be created or changed in thedatabase. The relationship/role definition data is then activeimmediately, even if the business partner data is not activated untillater.
If the business partner is flagged at the time of its creation - thatis, if the business partner does not yet exist in the database - thenno BP relationships or role definitions can be created.

System Response
Depending on whether the business partner is already activated,maintenance will either be permitted or refused.
