Diagnosis
The address in question is also used as astandard address within its validityperiod. Changing the validity period would lead to gaps for theusage 'standard address'.

Procedure
First create the alternative address(es) or extend their validitycorrespondingly under address usages.
Then you can change the validity of the address in question.
