The update of a role is controlled in table BUT100 through theassignment of a role category.
Processes that require a role to exist for a business partner and thatmake use of this role, access this role via the assigned role category.This means, on the one hand, that all the roles assigned to a rolecategory must be updated. On the other hand, roles that are not updatedcannot be used in processes or programs.
