Diagnosis
The address-independent communication data can only be transferred toaddress-dependent communication data (and vice versa) when the inputfields of the communication types in question (telephone, telefax andemail) are ready for input.
This means that the relevant field groups in the Customizing may nothave the field status "Display" or "Hidden".

Procedure
In the Customizing or in the Business Partner task level menu (BUPT),you change the status for the field groups Telephone Number,Telefax Number and Internet Email Address to OptionalEntry or Not Specified.
In order to navigate to the Customizing, choose Customizing inthe toolbar of the Performance Assistant.
