Diagnosis
You want to inspect the new physical samples in one or all of theinspection lot operations. No characteristic specifications have beenfound for the chosen operation, or all operations (if you have notspecified the operation number).

Procedure

• Check whether the inspection lot has been correctly created, and
whether characteristic specifications have been assigned.

• Complete the inspection lot using the transaction Change
inspection lot, if characteristic specifications have not yet beenassigned.

• If an inspection plan with only inspection operations and no inspection
characteristics, was assigned to the inspection lot, you cannot createinspection points to inspect physical samples for this lot. Then,choose the radio button "Do not create inspection points".
