SAP Message QS860 - Batch &1 &2 &3 can only be partially valuated

Diagnosis
At least one class characteristic cannot be valuated by QM. This isbecause the measured value is not within the allowed value range forthe class characteristic assigned to the master inspectioncharacteristic.
In addition, values already exist in the batch classification for thesome of the class characteristics that cannot be valuated.

Procedure
You now have the following options:

  • Choose Yes.

  • In this case, all class characteristics for which a valuation ispossible are valuated with the measured values from QM.
For the class characteristics that cannot be valuated by QM (becausethe measured values are not within the allowed value range for theclass characteristics), the existing values in the batch classificationare deleted.
    • Choose No.

    • In this case, all class characteristics for which a valuation ispossible are valuated with the measured values from QM.
For the class characteristics that cannot be valuated by QM (becausethe measured values are not within the allowed value range for theclass characteristics), the existing values in the batch classificationare retained.
      • Choose Compare batch values.

      • Before you decide to choose one of the functions above, you can displaya list which compares the measured values in QM with the valuescontained in the batch.
        • Choose Cancel.

        • You must differentiate between two cases, depending on the transactionyou are currently in:
If you are in the transaction for recording results for aninspection point, you return to the screen for the inspection pointdata. On this screen, you can assign a new partial lot or batch to theinspection point, if necessary.
If you are in the transaction for the usage decision, all classcharacteristics for which a valuation is possible are valuated with themeasured values supplied by QM.
For the general characteristics that cannot be valuated by QM (becausethe measured values are not within the allowed value range for theclass characteristics), the existing values in the batch classificationare retained.
