Diagnosis
A sampling procedure must be assigned to the master inspectioncharacteristic. However, in the material specification, you have notyet assigned either a lot-based or an inspection point-basedsampling procedure.

Procedure
Select Goto -> Values from the menu bar, and assign asampling procedure to the lot-based as well as the inspectionpoint-based inspection on the values screen.
If you do not enter a sampling procedure, the system uses the samplingprocedure entered in the plan when creating the inspection lot (ifinspections are also carried out using a plan). If no samplingprocedure is entered for the plan, the system uses the samplingprocedure defined in Customizing at plant level.
