Diagnosis
You want to delete a validity period for the inspection method and havemade the setting in Customizing that the inspection method should bedistributed when you save with ALE. However, in the followingsituations the validity period cannot be deleted:

• The validity period that you want to delete is the only validity period
for this inspection method. After deletion no validity period would beavailbale in the system.

• A version of the validity period to be deleted is still used in the
target system.

Procedure
If you delete the inspection method, you might need to ensure that yourinspection methods have the same status in the target system.
