Diagnosis
Inspection method &v1& in plant &v2& with version &v3& is used in amaster inspection characteristic or inspection plan, and thereforecannot be deleted.
This error message can also appear when the deletion of an inspectionmethod is triggered not directly, but during the distribution of theinspection method with ALE.
This distribution always occurs for all versions of aninspection method. If the distributed inspection method has moreversions than existed before, the "excess" versions must be deleted inthe target system. If the versions to be deleted are still in use, thesystem cannot delete these versions or save the "new" inspectionmethod.

Procedure
Create a where-used list for the specified inspection method and deletethe affected version. If the posting of an IDoc is canceled, you cansubsequently post this IDoc manually.
