Diagnosis
To avoid inconsistencies, you cannot delete the inspection method forthe following reasons:

• The master inspection characteristic is referenced in a task list, and
the inspection method you want to delete was copied to the task listwhen you made the reference.

• You are carrying out the change without history.

Procedure
If you want to delete the inspection method, you can opt for one of thefollowing possibilities:


• Delete the reference to the master inspection characteristic in the
task lists.

• Carry out the change with history.
