Diagnosis
Notification type Q9 is reserved for notifications that originate froman external system (such as SNC) and have been transmitted to the ERPsystem.
You therefore cannot create notifications in ERP for this notificationtype, but you can display or change them.

Procedure
If you want to create a notification that is to be transmitted to anexternal system via Enterprise Service, either use notification type Q8or your own notification type that is intended for this.
If you want to change or display data for a notification withnotification type Q9, choose one of the change transactions, such asQM02, or a display transaction, such as QM03.
Note that if you make changes to notifications of notification type Q9,these notifications are transmitted to the external system with thechanged data.
