SAP Message QPMS006 - Object type &1 is not allowed for assignment of customer &2

Diagnosis
An object type that is not allowed has been specified for the existingmaterial-task list assignment.

Procedure
Enter a suitable object type for the material-task list assignment.
The object type corresponds to the Customizing table for objects ofmultiple specifications.

  • If you specify an object for multiple specifications in the
    • material-task list assignment (compare DefineObjects for Multiple Specifications ) and do not specify acustomer number, you must specify the object types in the inspectionplan that are maintained in this Customizing table.
    • If you specify both the object and a customer number in the
      • material-task list assignment, you can also specify an object type forcustomers (compare Define Object Types for MultipleSpecifications). This object type must have the control "Use customerfor classification" in this Customizing table.
