Procedure
An update can only take place into empty versions because of the dangerof data inconsistency.
If the target version is not the actual version '000', first delete thecontents of the target version.
Refer to the following note in the case of an update to the actualversion and perform the update again.

If quality notifications, usage decisions or inspection results havealready been archived in your system, you cannot delete version '000'for the archiving period and its relevant info structures, since anupdate using archived data is not supported in the Quality Managementcomponent.
If archiving has taken place, choose a version other than the actualversion and use the copy function to bring the data in the actualversion into line with the updated data.
