Diagnosis
The recorded defect(s) are assigned to a defect class that causes aquality notification to be automatically set in process.
All defects in an inspection lot, operation, or characteristics in anoperation are documented in a quality notification. The qualitynotification is initially "outstanding" that is, it is simply usedto document the defects that have been found. After it has been set inprocess, the defects must then be processed as a quality notification.
