Diagnosis
You changed the notification that was created in defects recording. Asa result, the system automatically activated the notification.
The following changes will cause a notification to be activatedautomatically:

• Recording tasks


• Entering a priority


• Entering a code or short text for the notification


• Entering a coordinator or responsible department

System Response
All defects for an inspection lot or operation (including thecharacteristics for the affected the operation) are included in asingle quality notification. The quality notification is initiallyinactive (that is, it merely serves to document the defects). Once thenotification is activated, the defects must be processed as a qualitynotification.
