Diagnosis The control limits for track &V1& on the control chart cannot becalculated with the existing data. System Response The function was not carried out. Procedure The procedure depends on the type of track and the type of inspectioncharacteristic. The following options are available:
- In the case of an average value track, the standard deviations of the
samples are required to calculate the limits. In the case of summarized recording>, you can enter these in thesingle screen for the characteristic. In the case of classified recording> or recording ofindividual values>, the standard deviation is only determinedautomatically during the valuation. In order to initiate thecalculation before the valuation is performed, call the function forrecording the statistical moments.
- In the case of an average value track for an acceptance chart, if the
dispersion is large or the tolerance range is small, then the valuefor the upper control limit can sometimes be less than that of thelower control limit. If this happens, then you should repeat the calculation at a laterdate, when the dispersion has decreased.
- Individual algorithms can often require a certain minimum number of
inspection results before a calculation is possible. The exact requirements depend on the procedure stored for the track inthe Customizing application.
