An open marginal class is outside the tolerance ranges predefined byinspection planning, has no upper or lower limits, or extends up to theplausiblity limits of the inspection characteristic.

System Response
When you confirm numbers for marginal classes, the system assumes thatfor the calculation of statistics, such as, for example, mean value andstandard deviation, the marginal classes have the same width as realclasses within the predefined class range.
