Diagnosis
Previously, the Quality Management (QM) application componentwas not active. However, you now want to activate QM. Since inspectionstock exists for the chosen material in the plant, you cannot activateQM without further action.

• You must manually post the material from inspection stock or


• Activate the inspection type using the transaction "Mass change of
inspection setup data in materials".
Set the indicator "Activation despite inspection stock" on the initialscreen.
