You want to delete a code from a code group. However, this code hasalready been used. As a result, an error could occur in the affectedapplication.

System Response
If you have set the indicator "Inactive" for logical deletion inCustomizing for the catalog type, the entry can be deleted despite thewarning. Short texts for codes, which have been logically deleted, canalso still be found in other applications.
If you have not set the indicator "Inactive" for physical deletion inCustomizing for the catalog type, the entry cannot be deleted. This isto ensure that data is consistent in other applications.

Procedure
If necessary (possibly only short-term), change the setting inCustomizing for the catalog type.
Note: If a catalog entry is logically deleted, no catalog entry can becreated with the same key.
