Diagnosis The document which is to be validated in the relevant application couldnot be found. This could be for one of the following reasons:
- The asynchronous update has not yet been carried out.
- The IDOCs are still in inbound or outbound processing in the
distributed system.
- The update was terminated.
Activity In the first two cases, you should wait until the update or IDOCdispatch has been carried out. You should retain the current documentstatus and execute the function 'Compare document' at a later stage. If the problem was caused by termination of the update, you should setthe document status to 'ACTIVITY MANUALLY TERMINATED'. You do so by executing the function 'Compare document' again in CostTransfer, Billing or Activity Allocation. Please note that this deletes all data relevant to billing and activityallocation. Before you can change the document status to 'ACTIVITY MANUALLYTERMINATED' you must set it to 'INCORRECT'. Further notes You should use the solution change document status to 'ACTIVITYMANUALLY TERMINATED'> only in the case of update termination>since this can otherwise lead to data inconsistencies.
