SAP Message PU041 - Background job &1 in client &2 has not been scheduled

Diagnosis
Background job &V1& could not be scheduled in client &V2&.
This message is for information only.

Procedure

  • If you copied a client without user masters and this message appears in
    • the log of the copy, the background job could not be scheduled becauseuser "DDIC" does not yet exist in client &V2&.
    You can ignore the message.
    • In all other cases you can schedule background job &V1&
      • as follows:
      Log on to client &V2& as user "DDIC" and start programRDDNEWPP. After successful completion, the programreports that background job &V1& was scheduled.
      If program RDDNEWPP reports an error, look at the long text for thecorresponding error message.
