Diagnosis
There are several possible causes for this:

• The rating you specified is greater than the maximum proficiency on the
scale.

• The rating you specified is less than the minimum proficiency on the
scale.

• You entered more digits after the decimal point than are allowed.


• Syntax of the data entered is wrong (for example, you used a comma
instead of a decimal point).

System Response
The value is changed to the lowest or highest value on the scale, or,if the syntax was incorrect, the entry is deleted.
