Diagnosis
If a particular data element is not assigned to a view field, theview field uses the data element of the base field.
If the data element or the domain of the base field was changed, thischange is taken into account the next time the view is activated.
The change generally only has an effect on the documentation which isdisplayed on the screen for this field.

Procedure
When changing the data element for a field, you shold also activate theviews containing this field. This will be done automatically in a laterrelease.
