SAP Message M7503 - No storage location data for & in & &

Diagnosis
There is no material masterdata for material &V1& in plant &V2&, storage location &V3&.

Procedure

If your entry is correct, there is no storage location data for thematerial yet.
There are several ways of creating the storage location data:

  • From the Storage view, maintain the relevant material master record by
    • choosing Other -> Enter storage locations inthe material master menu.
    • The storage location data can be created automatically the first time a
      • goods movement is posted for the material
      • The storage location data can be created automatically the first time a
        • reservation is made for the material.
        In Customizing for Inventory Management, you can allow the automaticcreation of storage location data for goods movements and reservations.
